Students at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences can complete some courses using the Internet. There are courses offered by the lecturers at Kajaani UAS, but students can also take courses from other UASs in Finland. The Finnish universities of applied sciences offer their studies at the portal of Finnish Online University of Applied Sciences. The flexible study right gives every UAS degree student the chance to choose courses from any Finnish university of applied sciences free of charge. The studies via the Finnish Online UAS are mainly carried out as online studies. Students can apply for courses via this oncampus.fi portal, at the Study Services section. Before applying for online studies, please discuss the compatibility of the courses to your degree studies with your tutor teacher. Please note that there are two kinds of studies offered: Online Studies and Open UAS Studies. As you are studying for a degree at Kajaani UAS, online studies are free for you, in case of possible contact teaching hours, you have to pay e.g travel costs yourself. Online studies which are offered by the Open Polytechnic are not free and you must cover the costs.
