Training for International Exchanges and Reporting on the Exchange

The Valtteri student and trainee exchange orientation course is a virtual 3-credit study package for students going on international exchange. The course aims to prepare you for your exchange period, to deepen your knowledge of the destination country and Finland and to prepare you for coming back to Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.  

The Valtteri training package can be accessed in th Moodle e-learning environment: http://moodle.kajak.fi, from the course category Muut. In order to register for the course, you need a course key. The key will be given to you when your exchange application has been approved.  The Asio e-report and electronic feedback  questionnaire (this will be sent you later) replace tasks 9 and 10 from Valtteri.

• the exchange report, Power Point presentation and other set assignments have been completed and returned to the International Office. The report and presentation will be published for the use of other students going on exchange
• on your return from practical training abroad you must also compile a normal practical training report according to the instructions of your school
• Erasmus exchange students are obliged to submit the following documents to the International Office as soon as possible after their return from the exchange:
  1. The exchange confirmation form from the receiving university
  2. A copy of a list of all courses accomplished abroad (transcript of records/academic record/study card)
  3. Erasmus practical training, a copy of work certificate.
