Kajaani University of Applied Sciences has launched a new programme delivered in English in the School of Health and Sports; Degree Programme in Sports and Leisure Management. The first intake for this programme was in autumn 2009, thus there will only be first and second year courses available during the academic year 2010 - 2011. The lists of courses offered for each academic year is available by the end of May yearly.
It is also possible to choose courses from other English taught degree programmes (International Business and Tourism). We also offer language courses in Spanish, Italian, French, German and Russian. It is possible to take beginner's courses or more advanced level courses. The courses that are offered can be found from the School of Business. Please note that if you choose courses from different programmes, but that it may cause timetable problems as the courses may be running at the same time.
The studies in the Degree Programme in Nursing are taught in Finnish, but the programme offers some courses in English usually during the spring semester. Usually exchange students studying at the School of Health and Sports come from partner institutions and complete their clinical training in the local hospital or other places arranged by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.
